The lockdown odonata watch organized by the Society for Odonate Studies reveals many interesting findings.  The program was conducted through the Dragonflies of Kerala Facebook forum, the social media arm of SOS. Members were requested to share pictures or checklist of odonata from their neighborhoods in the Facebook group. A total of 105 species were recorded including many rare and endemic species.  Around 65 observers from all walk of life actively took part in the event.  A total of 450 observations were made and more than 10 check lists (each with 20+ species) were generated by various members.

The program received wide media coverage.
